A person like Daniel Tammet proves that human brains are insanely powerful. – You remember the number π which has unlimited digits after the comma? It starts with π = 3.14159265359… and the digits do not repeat which makes it extremely hard to remember. However, Daniel was able to recite 22514 digits (“twenty-two thousand five hundred fourteen”) after the comma without mistake. A world record. Just to say: Most people forget their 4-digit-PIN (me included) and telephone numbers

For each number he has a shape, color and texture in his mind. He sets them together and can make huge calculations this way. A totally new way of thinking/doing mathematics!
