Irgendwie bin ich grade etwas verwirrt von einer Aufgabenstellung
x= [1,2,3,4]T ; y=[5,6,7,8]T
und ich soll Z = xy^T berechnen.
Mache ich jetzt ein Sklarprodukt oder eher eine Matrixmultiplikation weil der eine Vektor ist ja vertikal der andere horizontal (transponiert).

Ich vermute mal der Rang ist dann 1 weil es Vielfache voneinander sind
Ja genau. Alle Bilder sind irgendwelche Vielfache von \(\begin{pmatrix}1&2&3&4\end{pmatrix}^T\). Daher ist der Bildraum 1-dimensional.

Das läuft auf das Gleiche hinaus.
wieso bei Skala komme ich doch auf 70 und bei einer Matrix würde ich ja x1*y1 x1*y2 ... x4 * y4 berechnen und eine Matrix erhalten
Reden wir von x*(y^T) oder von (x*y)^T?

Ich denke mal wenn ich danach den Rang berechnen soll macht es mehr Sinn dass am Ende eine Matrix rauskommt oder ?
