a) Stelle fest, welche der folgenden Ringe nullteilerfrei sind und gib ggf. die Menge der Nullteiler an:

\( \mathbb{Z} / 5 \mathbb{Z}, \quad \mathbb{Z} / 8 \mathbb{Z}, \quad \mathbb{Z}^{\{1,2\}} . \)

b) Betrachte die Abbildung

\( \phi: \mathbb{Z} \rightarrow \operatorname{Mat}_{2 \times 2}(\mathbb{R}), \quad n \mapsto\left(\begin{array}{cc} n & 0 \\ 0 & n \end{array}\right) \)

Zeige, dass \( \phi \) ein Ringhomomorphismus ist und bestimmen den Kern.

a) nullteilerfrei, {2,4}, nullteilerfrei. b) $$\phi (n+m)=diag(n+m)=diag(n)+diag(m)=\phi (n)+\phi (m)$$ (diag(x) steht hier für die Diagonalmatrix mit Eintrag x auf der Diagonale); komplett analog füt * statt +. Der Kern ist {0}, die Abb. ist injektiv.

Ist \(6\) kein Nullteiler in \(\mathbb Z/8\mathbb Z\)?
Ja, richtig: 2,4, 6

Müsste aber nicht Z^1 ebenfalls nullteilerfrei sein?
