Aufgabe:

\( y=\frac{x^{3}-6 x^{2}+12 x-8}{x^{2}-4} \)

Ich würde gern wissen ob ich die richtige Asymptote gefunden habe:

(x³-6x²+12x-8) : (x²-4) = x - 6 - 16/x + 16/(x²-4)

Also: y = x - 6

Kann das richtig sein? denn dieses 16/x kommt mir komisch vor.

Allerdings ist: grad(z) = 3 > 2 = grad(n) und da kommt dann ein y= mx+b raus. ALso müsste dies wohl richtig sein.

Die Form 'Quotient and reminder' zeigt, dass du zu weit gerechnet hast: Es ist

(x³-6x²+12x-8) : (x²-4) = x - 6 + (16x-32)/(x²-4) 

Die schräge Asymptote ist daher y = x-6 (richtig)
