Aufgabe:

Betrachten Sie die Funktionen

f(x) = 1/(x4), x ∈ ℝ \ {0}       und      g(x) = \( \sqrt[4]{x} \) , x ∈ [0,∞)

Bestimmen Sie nur unter Verwendung der Definition des Differentialquotienten den
Wert der Ableitung f ' (x) für x ∈ R \ {0} sowie den Wert der Ableitung g ' (x) für x ∈ (0,∞).

$$ \frac{ f(x+h) - f(x) }{ h } = \frac{ \frac{1}{(x+h)^4} - \frac{1}{x^4} }{ h } =\frac{ x^4 - (x+h)^4 }{ h (x+h)^4 x^4 } = $$

$$ \frac{ x^4 - x^4 - 4 x^3 h - 6 x^2 h^2 - 4 x h^3 -h^4 }{ x^4 (x+h)^4 h } = \frac{ -4x^3 h - 6 x^2 h^2 - 4xh^3 - h^4 }{ x^4(x+h)^4 h } = $$

$$ \frac{ -4x^3 - 6 x^2 h - 4 x h^2 - h^3 } { x^4 (x+h)^4 } \to -\frac{ 4 }{ x^5 }$$ für \( h \to 0 \)

Die zweite Aufgabe geht änlich.

Vielen Dank für die Hilfe, ullim! :)

$$ \frac { g(x+h) - g(x) } { h } = \frac{ \sqrt[4]{x+h} - \sqrt[4]{x} }{h} = \frac{ \sqrt{x+h} - \sqrt{x} }{ h \left( \sqrt[4]{x+h} + \sqrt[4]{x} \right)  }  = \\ \frac{ x+h-x }{ h \left( \sqrt[4]{x+h} + \sqrt[4]{x} \right) \left( \sqrt{x+h} + \sqrt{x}  \right)   } = \frac{ 1 }{ \left( \sqrt[4]{x+h} + \sqrt[4]{x} \right) \left( \sqrt{x+h} + \sqrt{x}  \right)  } \\ \stackrel{\mathrm{h \to 0}}\to \frac{1}{4 \sqrt[4]{x^3}}$$

f(x) = 1/x^4

f'(x) = lim (h → 0) (f(x + h) - f(x))/h

f'(x) = lim (h → 0) (1/(x + h)^4 - 1/x^4)/h

f'(x) = lim (h → 0) ((- 4·h·x^3 - 6·h^2·x^2 - 4·h^3·x - h^4)/(x^4·(x + h)^4))/h

f'(x) = lim (h → 0) (- 4·x^3 - 6·h·x^2 - 4·h^2·x - h^3)/(x^4·(x + h)^4) = - 4·x^3/(x^4·x^4) = - 4/x^5

Zu g'(x):

\(\frac{\sqrt[4]{x+h}-\sqrt[4]{x}}{h}=\frac{\sqrt[4]{x+h}-\sqrt[4]{x}}{h}\cdot\frac{\sqrt[4]{x+h}+\sqrt[4]{x}}{\sqrt[4]{x+h}+\sqrt[4]{x}}=\frac{\sqrt{x+h}-\sqrt{x}}{h(\sqrt[4]{x+h}+\sqrt[4]{x})}\).

Erweitern mit \(\sqrt{x+h}+\sqrt{x}\) ergibt:

\(\frac{h}{h(\sqrt[4]{x+h}+\sqrt[4]{x})(\sqrt{x+h}+\sqrt{x})}\rightarrow\frac{1}{4\sqrt[4]{x}\sqrt{x}}=\frac{1}{4}x^{-3/4}\)
