5x^2 + 9y^2 = 180   #

d= 4    F (e;0 )

1. Hauptlage:

x^2 / 36 + y^2 / 20 = 1

e = wurzel( 36 - 20 ) = 4

F(4;0)

Abstand d von  (x;y) zu F gilt  d^2 = (x-4)^2 + y^2

also 16 = x^2 - 8x + 16 + y^2     also

y ^2 = 8x  -  x^2    einsetzen in #

5x^2 + 9 * ( 8x  -  x^2    ) = 180

5x^2 + 72x  - 9 x^2    = 180

-4x^2 + 72x - 180 = 0

x^2 - 18 x + 45 = 0

x=15 oder x=3

sinnvoll nur x=3 also Punkte

(3; √15 ) und  (3; - √15 )

sieht so aus:

~draw~ ;ellipse(0|0 12 8.94);punkt(4|0 "F");punkt(3|3.87 "P1");punkt(3|-3.87 "P2");zoom(10) ~draw~
