Aufgabe:Let f be a linear function. When f (x) is
divided by x − 3, the remainder is 5. When f (x)
is divided by x − 4, the remainder is 3. What is
the value of f (0)

Problem/Ansatz:

Ich glaube ich muss das Polynom theorem ansetzen also f(x)/x-a = f(a)

Dann habe ich 1) f(3) = 5 und 2) f(4) = 3. Aber wie komme ich dann zum Ergebnis?

Ich meine es eher so:

f(x) = m*x+n

Und wenn du eine Polynomdivision machst, hast du

1)   (mx+n)/(x-3) = m+ (n+3m)/(x-3)  also Rest  n+3m

und entsprechend bei

2)    (mx+n)/(x-4) = m+ (n+4m)/(x-3)  also Rest  n+4m

also  n+3m = 5 und  n+4m = 3

das gibt m=-2 und n= 11.

Also ist f(x)= -2x + 11.
