Betrachten Sie die folgende lineare Abbildung:

F:ℝ3 -> ℝ2 , \( \begin{pmatrix} x1\\x2\\x3 \end{pmatrix} \) -> F \( \begin{pmatrix} x1\\x2\\x3 \end{pmatrix} \) = \( \begin{pmatrix} x1\\0\\ \end{pmatrix} \)


a) Bestimmen Sie jeweils Kern und Bild dieser linearen Abbildung

b) Bestimmen Sie eine Basis von ker(F) und damit die Dimension dieses Unterraums

Ein Element \( \begin{pmatrix} x1\\x2\\x3 \end{pmatrix} \)

liegt im Kern, wenn  F \( \begin{pmatrix} x1\\x2\\x3 \end{pmatrix} \) = \( \begin{pmatrix} 0\\0\\ \end{pmatrix} \) gilt, also kurz  x1=0 .

Damit ist z.B.   \( \begin{pmatrix} 0\\1\\0\\ \end{pmatrix}, \begin{pmatrix} 0\\0\\1\\ \end{pmatrix} \) eine Basis für der Kern, der ist also 2-dimensional.

Das Bild besteht aus allen  \( \begin{pmatrix} x\\0\\ \end{pmatrix} \) , also allen Vielfachen von  \( \begin{pmatrix} 1\\0\\ \end{pmatrix} \) ist also 1-dimensional.
