look at how much of the entire COCA corpus is spoken

TOTAL COCA Corpus : 570,353,748

TOTAL SPOKEN- 116,748,578
TOTAL WRITTEN- 453,605,170

P(spoken) = (116,748,578) / (570,353,748)

calculate how big a portion of "they" is likely to be in the spoken part.

Was macht das Wörtchen "likely" in diesem Satz? Du könntest doch einfach mit diesen Zahlen rechnen?

Total spoken non-singular they- 876,823
total written non-singular they-  1,747,168

Stimmt die Fragestellung?

Könnte auch sein, dass eine Vierfeldertafel gewünscht ist. Dazu aber die Originalfrage angeben bitte und die Frage selbst exakt auf Deutsch übersetzen.

Kennst du "singular-they"? Gibt es das?
