Aufgabe:

Untersuche die Funktion f mithilfe der ersten Ableitung auf Monotonie:

f(x)=2x hoch 4+x hoch 3


Problem/Ansatz:

Ich weiß wie man Ableitungen berechnet, aber danach komme ich nicht weiter. Es wäre sehr lieb, wenn jemand es vorrechnen könnte.

f(x)=2x^4 +x^3  ==>   f ' (x) = 8x^3 + 3x^2 = x^2 * (8x+3)

Die Funktion ist monoton steigend für f ' (x) ≥ 0 .

Also schau mal, wann x^2 * (8x+3) ≥ 0    . Das x^2 ist immer ≥ 0

Also kommt es nur auf 8x+3 an. Also 8x+3  ≥ 0

                                            <=>  8x ≥ -3   <=>   x ≥  -3/8

Also ist f für x ≥  -3/8 monoton steigend und entsprechend

für x ≤  -3/8   monoton fallend. Sieht man auch am Graphen:
