Gleichung aufstellen und die Textaufgabe lösen

Stelle die Gleichung auf und löse die Textaufgabe.

Die Summe zweier Zahlen ist 11/12, ihr Produkt ist 1/6.  (Das sollen Brüche sein :D)

x+y =11/12 --> x= 11/12-y

x*y = 1/6

(11/12-y)*y = 1/6

11/12y -y^2 -1/6 = 0

y^2-11/12 y +1/6 = 0

Löse diese quadrat. Gleichung.

( 11/12 - y)  * y = 1/6  -----> quadr. Gleichung lösen !

y² - 11/12 y+ 1/6  = 0 

y1,2 =  11/24  ± √ 121 /576 - 96 / 576 = 11/24 ± √ 25 /576 

y1,2 = 11/24 ± 5/24

y1 = 16/24 = 8 /12 

y2 = 6/24 = 3/12 -----> Lösung !

x + 3/12 = 11/12

x = 8/12 !

x+y = 3/12 +8/12 =  11/12 und   3/12  *  8 /12 = 24 /144 = 1/6 !
