(x + y·i)^2 = x^2 + 2·i·x·y + i^2·y^2 = x^2 - y^2 + 2·x·y·i

2·x·y = 4
x = 2/y

x^2 - y^2 = 3
(2/y)^2 - y^2 = 3
4/y^2 - y^2 = 3
4 - y^4 = 3y^2
y^4 + 3y^2 - 4 = 0
z^2 + 3z - 4 = 0
z = -4 ∨ z = 1
y = ± 1

x = ± 2

(2 + i)^2 = 3 + 4i
(-2 - i)^2 = 3 + 4i

wieso geht z = -4 nicht?
Weil dann ja y selbst Irrational ist. und als Teil einer irrationalen Zahl ist das eher unsinnig denke ich.
x und y sollen gemäß Aufgabenstellung reelle Zahlen sein. Die Gleichung z = y ² = - 4 aber hat keine reelle Lösung.

( x + y i ) 2 = 3 + 4 i

<=> x 2 + 2 x y i + i 2 y 2 = 3 + 4 i

[ i 2 = - 1 , also:]

<=> x 2 + 2 x y i - y 2 = 3 + 4 i

<=> x 2 - y 2 +  2 x y i = 3 + 4 i

[ Vergleich der Real- und Imaginärteile ergibt:]

<=> x 2 - y 2 = 3  und 2 x y = 4 (daraus folgt, dass weder x noch y gleich Null ist)

<=> x 2 - y 2 = 3  und x y = 2

<=> x 2 - y 2 = 3  und  x = 2 / y (Division erlaubt, da y ungleich Null)

<=> ( 2 / y ) 2 - y 2 = 3  und  x = 2 / y

<=> 4 / y 2 - y 2 = 3  und  x = 2 / y

<=> 4 - y 4  = 3 y 2 und  x = 2 / y

<=> y 4 + 3 y 2 = 4 und  x = 2 / y

[Substitution: y ² = z ]

<=> z 2 + 3 z = 4 und  x = 2 / y

<=> z 2 + 3 z + 1,5 2 = 6,25  und  x = 2 / y

<=> ( z + 1,5 ) 2 = 6,25  und  x = 2 / y

<=> z + 1,5 = +/- 2,5 und  x = 2 / y

<=> ( z = - 4 ODER z = 1 ) und  x = 2 / y

[Rücksubstitution: z = y 2 :]

<=> ( y 2 = - 4 ODER y 2 = 1 ) und  x = 2 / y

[ y 2 = - 4 hat keine reelle Lösung, nur solche jedoch sind gesucht, also:]

<=> y 2 = 1 und  x = 2 / y

<=> y = - 1 und  x = 2 / y  ODER y = 1 und  x = 2 / y

<=> y = - 1 und x = - 2 ODER y = 1 und x = 2

Probe:

x = - 2 und y = - 1 :

( x + i y ) 2 = ( - 2 - i ) ²

= 4 + 4 i - 1

= 3 + 4 i (stimmt!)

x = 2 und y = 1 :

( x + i y ) 2 = ( 2 + i ) ²

= 4 + 4 i - 1

= 3 + 4 i (stimmt auch!)
