Eine Alternative. Es gilt: $$\sinh z = \frac{1}{2}\left( e^z - e^{-z} \right)$$ dann kann man \(\sinh ^2 z=-\frac{1}{2}\) umformen zu $$\sinh z = \frac{1}{2}\left( e^z - e^{-z} \right)= \pm i\frac{1}{2} \sqrt{2}$$ Substituieren \(e^z=u\) und multiplizieren mit \(2u\) ergibt $$u^2 \pm ui \sqrt{2} - 1 = 0 \quad \Rightarrow u_{1,2}=\pm \frac{1}{2}\sqrt{2} \pm i\frac{1}{2}\sqrt{2}$$ weiter gilt $$e^{i\phi}=\cos \phi + i \sin \phi$$ also ist $$\cos \phi = \pm \frac{1}{2}\sqrt{2} \quad \text{und} \quad \sin \phi = \pm \frac{1}{2}\sqrt{2}$$ und da lt. Substitution \(z=i \phi\) (s.o.), gilt $$z_{1,2}=\pm i \frac{\pi}{4}; \quad z_{3,4}=\pm i \frac{3\pi}{4}$$ Gruß Werner

Vergleiche Real und Imaginärteil:
i) sinh(x)^2 cos(y)^2-cosh^2(x)sin^2(y)=-1/2
ii) 2sinh(x)cosh(x)sin(y)cos(y)=sinh(x)cosh(x)sin(2y)=0
